Cleaning Rainlegs fail

I tried to clean my rather oily/dirty rainlegs with clutch/brake cleaner. It doesn't work!

Try Ajax cleaning spray (or whatever the British equivalent is ). Citrus degreaser also works well.

It's obvious that you are not at the cutting edge in cycle clothing fashion. The OP's talking about Spat-like coverings designed to keep ones kegs dry when cycling in the rain. However their most important function is to attract admiring glances from the cycle-clip wearing masses.
