Cleaning The Chain Cleaner?

Today, after cleaning my chain with a chain cleaner I cleaned my chain cleaner.

Is this something we all should do or am I being too fussy?

I clean mine periodically - the brushes get pretty mucky in use, and there's no point putting muck back on the chain!

Take it to the recycling centre where they have a place for waste oil.
Or just put it down the nearest drain like everybody else.B)

Good old Mickle!

+1 absolutely no need for chain cleaner, an old rag and some elbow grease is sufficient, just clean and lube regularly.

Just make sure you clean whatever you used to clean the chain cleaner with.

And then clean that.
