As long as I breathe, I attack.
I occasionally do ours - I now have an extending pole, that I attach a brush to (recently cleaned the conservatory) or a gutter scoop ! Never had a window cleaner.

I have an extending pole with a combi microfibre sponge and squeegee that does the job , its s bit flexible as mrs ck bought it from the local discount shop so it was cheap but i manage and tbh cant tell much difference to bunging £10 a pop to the window cleaner who used the pole system and left the windows to dry naturally which meant they were a bit streaky .

My partner bought an e-cloth which is actually two cloths . One for cleaning , one for polishing. They still work brilliantly.
Several windows we rarely clean as it ups the bird strikes, which i hate.

Our window cleaner turns up every so often, cleans all the front and side windows and doors, then sticks a note through the letterbox requesting payment.

Always done my own.
Got myself a window cleaning kit off amazon (bucket, mop and squegee) and watched a few YouTube videos on technique.
Bit of washing up liquid in the bucket with some hot water does the trick nicely.
Clean the frames with a rag.

Before I moved down here and had a house. I figured out I was saving around £180 a year doing it myself.

In a ground floor flat now. We are supposed to get it as part of the service charges we pay but the "window cleaner" turns up once a month, signs his sheet in the communual area and buggers off. We now refuse to pay that portion of the service charges and I just do it myself.
