Clear Chainstay Protectors

What do you guys use to protect yours?

I got a set from my LBS, same price.
I was getting rub marks from cables etc so wanted something that would protect the paintwork a bit (okay so I varied the use lol).
The ones I got are clear and quite thick and rubbery. They do a great job and I put one on the frame as my shoe was scraping when I was jumping on and off the bike...it's doing a great job!

I couldn't find one that I liked so made a temporary one from B&Q gaffer tape. It is black an looks like carbon fibre so I left it on.

B&Q do a heavyweight clear tape. Almost as protective as helicopter tape, but comes on a 20m roll for about £5.

Heat it gently with a hairdryer as you apply and it goes on without wrinkles, and is virtually invisible. A roll has done all the bikes in the fleet (headtube, seatstay and any other places where cables could rub).

Oh I don't remember the make now. They came in a cardboard backed blister pack and were a thick rubbery type - not vinyl.
I did a search but can't see anything like them

I've just dug through my tool case and found 2 leftover discs from the pack....I've got these either side of my fork head as the cables were rubbing.

Selotape Sticky Discs, get them from Amazon for £2.99 for 100
Works as well as anything I have purchased from a bike shop.

Thank you @Mr Haematocrit , not sure I'd go down the selotape route, but those are fantastic for xmas! haha.

I only noticed the marks tonight, and thought it was a coincidence, considering I only read this thread the other day, so trawled through some guesses for topics and found it again

It's so annoying....my bike was only a couple of weeks old when I noticed the marks from the cables!
