Thank you @Mr Haematocrit , not sure I'd go down the selotape route, but those are fantastic for xmas! haha.

I only noticed the marks tonight, and thought it was a coincidence, considering I only read this thread the other day, so trawled through some guesses for topics and found it again

They are actually very good and I use them extensively on all my bikes. I have no trouble at all paying what it cost to do what I want.
I tried many frame protectors before trying these.
For £2.99 IMHO they are worth a go.. You might be suitably impressed.
