There there. When I was at school, all the poorer kids used to use them and we got ridiculed for it.
Kids can be so cruel....![]()
I LOVE Rory McLeod. *googles*Title of a great song by Rory McLeod, might be on you-tube
Scarred for life....There there.
Unfortunately it involves eating crappy, salty, msg Chinese grub first.Ice-cream containers are a bit too deep for a sandwich, so you run the risk of disintegration. The little plastic containers that Chinese takeaways come in squash a two-slice sandwich just enough to preserve its integrity I find.
I guess it's the wastage that's the issue - these solutions are all reusable...Is cling film frowned upon? The amount used for a sandwich rolls up into a tiny ball afterwards
Yeah I know Stan but it's a tiny tiny ballI guess it's the wastage that's the issue - these solutions are all reusable...
That's only the great big uns, As for the takeaway tubs if they are trademarked ' Pink Apple' on the bottom then they were made in Leicester, possibly by me.Ice-cream containers are a bit too deep for a sandwich, so you run the risk of disintegration. Great guy as well, I've sat round many a campfire at festivals with him, or in the bar at the 'Off The Tracks' festival folk 'sessions' (one of the organisers was his agent til quite recently, Andy Cooper)I LOVE Rory McLeod. *googles*
I used to go to folky stuff a lot, Mr G plays in a band that does some of the big festivals et Sidmouth. I kinda stopped when my own career got going and I just got so fed up of being a band widow at these occasions. The hours hanging around didn't seem worth it but I guess I've missed some good music.Great guy as well, I've sat round many a campfire at festivals with him, or in the bar at the 'Off The Tracks' festival folk 'sessions' (one of the organisers was his agent til quite recently, Andy Cooper)
That's where you're going wrong, don't mix up plastic box with plastic* bread. Make your own bread to fit the boxes you have. 30 minutes work spread over three hours and you've enough good/ home made bread to last a week. This is where you are going wrong, you need to buy bread that fits the containers you already have.
Do you know, I would love to be able to do this, but bread is the one thing that I have never, ever been able to make well. I am so envious of people who can. I can make pastry, cake, biscuits, crumble, pies, scones, choux, everything except bread. Infuriating. I keep meaning to try again (it's probably proving time and lack of patience) but I hate throwing the result out to the chickens every bleddy time. Also, our local baker's bread is very good (not plastic at all) so I am under-motivated.That's where you're going wrong, don't mix up plastic box with plastic* bread. *Plastic bread is like Chinese food, 30 minutes after you've eaten it you're hungry again.
Breadmaker. Even I can make nice bread. I don't but I could if I could be bothered to dig it out from behind the slicer and the George Foreman grill and possibly a waffle machine.Do you know, I would love to be able to do this, but bread is the one thing that I have never, ever been able to make well. I have thought about it but you've hit the nail immediately on the head there...Breadmaker. Even I can make nice bread. I don't but I could if I could be bothered to dig it out from behind the slicer and the George Foreman grill and possibly a waffle machine.
