All of them, I hate being advertised to. If I want to buy something, I will, but not because some random company wants me to consolidate my debts so I can buy even more pap from Argos.

Dell - as I'm sure you realise, that was a pisstake of the original advert which was about 97% more nauseating. (It had no voice over, just Jamie and Louise frolicking on a holiday that bore about a 19% resemblance to a Thomas Cook holiday.)

(My specificity numerically may not be taken literally and doesn't represent the views of this website or myself) - is that OK Shaun?

The last thing I wanted to imply was that naturally the Rednapps don't book their holidays through Thomas Cook.

I agree. I rarely watch telly anyway, but all advertising pisses me right off. Charlie Brooker gets it about right here.

Too much Jamie and not enough Louise.

Too right - although I hardly needed to click on the link.

"Charlie Brooker gets it about right" I find one of the most accurate statements in the parlance of our times.

(Equally Marina Hyde gets it about right)

Most adverts I can ignore, but the one that I actually find downright offensive is the Injury Lawyers For You one with that guy who played a criminal in Eastenders.

The whole tone of the advert is in-your-face and aggressive. It is unpleasant.

Now watch me get sued by the bastards for writing this post!
