The original advert was the same pictures without the "ironic" voiceover - ie just as nauseating.
Sky plus is the answer I suppose. I never watch TV adverts now. Just Sky Plus everything. Pause the ad break and go and make a cup of tea/ water the plants/ relieve myself and return and fast forward through the ads.
The only adverts I hear now are on Talksport which I occasionally tune in to. I've already posted a thread about the multiple anti-terrorism hotline ads.
I notice the traffic reports are now "sponsored by the anti-terrorism hotline" which seems so depressing as to lead me into a deeper level of a Dante-esque definition of hell.
I'm dreading the Talksport report - "the tube is at a standstill following today's terrorist attcks" . "Travel report - brought to you by the anti-terrorist hotline" - delivered breezily by a 21 year old.
