This morning's observation:

I love the sound when you pull away from the lights in a bunch of about 30 cyclists and everyone scrabbles for their clippy pedals at the same time!

I think he meant "Boris Bike" rather than simply the sound of leaving the lights on Boris.

Actually I met young Boris at the bike racks at Waterloo and he came across as a nice chap.Had his pic taken by some workmen and he was with bike.

Rare round here to get that many cyclists. Observed the clip clip this weekend on the Manchester 100. I must say, I reccon my pedals are the loudest !

The sound of 60-100 cyclists clicking in is magnified a huge amount in the dead of night on the FNRttC's.

I passed him on Embankment a couple of months ago. He was swaying around a little bit and initially I thought it was some p*sstaker dressed up as him. Stopped at reds a little while further on and sure enough it was the legitimate BJ who came pootling along behind. Seemed a friendly enough old chap

i remember a couple of years back MacBs' hampshire ride, Peter was leading
and we were rolling along he changed down then turned left, we all turned left and
there was a "little" uphill bit everyones' derailer was firing off shots (and their was some cursing too)
