Clicking from left crank arm

Hello All,

I have bought a Ridgeback Flight 02 and it has arrived and is lovely.

However first trip out after 5-6 miles there is a click coming from the left crank arm which seems to come on whilst not applying loads of pressure.

I have grabbed and wobbled the arm when stationary and cannot feel any movement.

I have contacted the website I bought it from for guidance, because I dont want to go through the pain that is returning the bike.

If its a quick fix I would much rather do it myself.

Could be a number of things and may be the pedal instead. Take off, grease and re install

I had this problem on a bike this weekend, just removed the left pedal, cleaned the crank arm and pedal threads, and wrapped the pedal thread in plumbers PTFE tape. Noise is gone.
