I have a Kuota Kharma which i have put a few hundred miles on from new. I had the first service done a couple of weeks ago and just recently it has started to produce a clicking noise from the headset, especially when climbing. Do i just need to adjust the headset following the normal procedure and is the noise "normal" from a threadless headset.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

It could be the headset but you should be able to feel any play by putting on the front brakes and rocking the bike or if it's the opposite and stiff, lifting the front end and turning the bars to feel for any notchiness or stiffness. It should turn freely.

More likely I would say, is that the click is coming from the bars or stem. I'd probably start by giving the stem bolts a wee tweak with an allen key and see whether that makes any difference.

There's a handy little section on creaks in the Park Tools repair section.
