Clip-On Mudguards

Hey everyone 👋

Does anyone have any recommendations for clip-on mudguards? My bike doesn’t have the option for fixed guards, so looking for some good quality clip-on ones if anyone has experience of these. Thanks for any advice!

Raceblade Long if you've got brake mounts. Just add a bit of grease onto the clip-in sections as they can seize over time.

Sorry for the delayed reply - Ive been away! Unfortunately my bike has no mounts, so the guard would need to be fully clipped or banded onto the frame…

In that case you're probably looking at the SKS Raceblade Pro or the Lifeline equivalent that Wiggle/Chain Reaction Cycles do.

+1 for the SKS. Top tip - don't trim the rubber tabs once secured. If they do stsrt flapping about and going into your spokes like an ice lolly stick, then use a small cable tie to tidy them up for the season (or however long) and remove when ready to take off.

+2 for the SKS, I’ve got them on my bike and they work fine.
A bit of creaking over bumps from the rubber grips when riding over bumps, but that won’t be an issue if you’re on nice roads.
