Has anyone.used one of those clip gizmos to hang a stand 500mm bottle of water from your belt ? If so........
Which type ?
Do they work ?
Its to warm for a jacket and I dont want to carry it in my hand while out walking.
Thanks.

A proper belt pouch or holster is a better option.

I used to have Halfords DirtMonkey waist bag that held two drinks bottles.
It was kinda useless of the MTB because the bottles fell out at the first serious bump but it worked for walking and was even better for bike rallies and festivals; a can of beer in each pouch, a hip flask and other essentials in the main compartment.

Really if the walk is long enough for you to need a drink, you would normally be carrying a rucksack with gear for adverse weather and some food. Otherwise a drink before you set off and one when you get back.
