I think it changes at 1am GMT, so it becomes 2am BST.

What time do they actually go forward? Is it the same everywhwere? I've got one of those watches with a radio receiver (yes, I know....) to keep accurate timing and I presume the hands whizz forward when I'm asleep - but when is it?
My alarm clock is like that. It's a bit sad, I know, but I was thinking of sitting watching the clock to see what happens!

I'm actually concerned that it does go forward on time because I need to be up early for a long forum ride on Sunday. I'll set my phone and an old clock as well just to be on the safe side.

Funnily enough I just got an email newsletter from the union. It says that here, the clocks go forward at 2:00am and that employers are forbidden from extending shifts by an hour to compensate, so anyone working does get an hour off. Not that I'd be at work then anyway...

Does the opposite work? For example, when the clocks change in the Autumn, you're expected to work for free for that hour?
I guess it is perceived as a fair deal though - you get paid for an extra hour now, and you give that hour back in the Autumn?
