Report it - you were wrong to stand there, but to drive a car into somebody is an offense. The police may tell you were stupid, but she's the one who has comitted an offense. Go now as you have 24 hours to report it. Especially as you have injured your leg. One stupid act doesn't deserve another.

Explain what happened, how close she came to knocking you off - she wouldn't listen, so you stood in front of the car to catch her attention - thats when she drove at you with enough force for you to land on the bonnet !

No legally SHE has 24 hours to report it.. or indeed had. I would imagine she hasnt done so and this stands in good favour.

Reflecting on this today, as said before it was a stationary vehicle at the time so this may help with the police, just explain that it happened in the heat of the moment

I would agree the OP does need to see a GP or someone. If there is a walk in center near him go to that as they tend to refer RTAs to them. People who dont cycle dont realise that even a small impact with a pedestrian or cyclist can have serious implications:wacko:

Yep, correct. You can technically leave the scene of an accident if you felt threatened if you are to report it within 24 hours. However, the longer you leave it to report the less importance the police will give it, as if you don't care enough, why should they?

hang on that's my Brompton we're talking about here:girl:
Anyway, in the end I did not go to the police. I've reported prevoius idiots before, but this time I did not have any witnesses. I can't help feeling that to the disinterested observer the whole affair must have looked like a middle aged nutter harassing a poor innoccent woman driver.
I still feel that I should have dealt with it better and so embarrassment also played a part in my decision.
The leg's getting better, but still fairly sore / stiff.
