If they know each other, then yes, it does, just as it applies if there are people travelling in the car with you when you have an accident.

Who said the police aren't going to follow this up if directed to? IMO the officer was a candid as possible & told us that our statements weren't going to be viewed as 'independent' but 'biased', that doesn't mean that there's no follow up but more the statements will be viewed with a pinch of salt due. We were certainly not a group of independent cyclists, we were a group riding together & that will bias out POV. The same is true if you're travelling in or "an informal group traveling to & from the same location using a single navigator through cooperation" (aka a convoy, but there are legal technicalities in calling it that), your statement isn't viewed as being completely impartial & independent.

Contact solicitors e.g. RJW/CTC if he's a member. He has a crimer reference number & hospital records to back it up.

I had a similar incident with a car passing too close, the wing mirror hit my hand but only folded it back & since I had mahoosive winter gloves on, just stung for a few mins
