You can tell - the SRS version has the tread as replaceable sections bolted to the sole. The old version is just a one piece version. The former is more desirable.
Nah, that's where you fix studs. On SRS the grey tread portions in your picture is bolted to sole, so that when you wear it out you can replace the tread, rather than having to bin the shoe.
