How do people transport their clothes (and I mean a suit) to work when commuting? Is there a suit bag for carrying on your back?

Sounds a bit naive and stupid but can't decide how to do it. ;)

Personally, I just used to leave suits in the office. And I'd take a stack of ironed and folded shirts in at the beginning of the week. They easily fit into a pannier.

In a rucksack every day. well, jeans go in rucksack on monday (wear them all week, take home on friday), then clean shirt in rucksack each day with gym kit, taken home daily. Along with food. Lot to carry ;)

Leave jacket at work, fresh trousers each week, then left at work, and shirt each day - oh shoes at work too.

Just fold carefuly, place in plastic bag, then into panier or rucksack

I carry stuff in a rucksack, and try to be one day ahead, with a set of clothes always waiting at work. So when I get to work, I hang things up near the shower, and in theory the creases fall out and it's ready to wear the next day.

In reality I always look like a right scruff.

Half my suits are here at work and I just dry-clean them.. actually, half my wardrobe and pretty much a whole bike and parts are hidden under my desk!

I just transport a clean shirt, socks and undies in a lightweight gym bag..

I am quite lucky to be able to do that however!

I get the bus in on a Monday as I bring in towels, underwear, socks, shirts, trousers, grapes, bananas and juice for the week.

The clothes are put away in my locker, so I can just collect my clean clothes, towel and shoes every morning on my way into the changing rooms.

I used to bring my clothes in every day in my rucksack, but in the end I just preferred travelling lighter on my cycling days.

I take everything with me in my rucksack. Towel and trousers at the start of the week. Leave my ties in my drawer at work. Take in a shirt, pants and socks every day. If I wanted to wear full suits (I should do really) I'd leave them all in work.

I'm one of the lucky ones where we have an excellent shower at work as well.

Shoes, trousers and jackets left in work in the 'leccy cupboard - fresh shreddies, shirts and food once a week on the train.

No shower in work so I shower at home - ride in cycling gear then baby wipes and deodorant. No one's complained yet......

Towel, shoes and wash things at work, change towel once a week.
Roll up shirt in trousers seems to do the job and when having shower hang up shirt and that steams out the last creases. All in rucksack, bought myself a wedge bag to isloate all my bike stuff so not constantly changing whats in my bag.

Suits take into work occasionally along with a number of shirts.

The drycleaning idea is a brillant idea though.

I am sure there is an invention that needs to be done to perhaps be able to roll up suits and shirts.

I have rolled up a suit before, a cheaper one just in case it messed it up, and it came out of the bag fine, the creases dropped out fairly quickly but I tend to leave jackets in the office now and just take fresh trews in on Mondays (or as required).

Im so lucky I have a locker at work in which I keep enough uniform to keep me going, replenish it on those days where the weather is to bad to cycle.
Also lucky enough to have showers available.

roll trousers nice and tightly around pants socks and small towel, seems to keep em crease free. i just fold the shirt and put it on the top of everything in the rucksack it seems to fair ok. i leave the jacket at the office. I only use one suit at a time. i buy one jacket and three pairs of trousers and wear them until there done and and the buy a new set. (this means i only have to have one jacket at work) I only buy machine washable ones.

Dont know how more expensive items would fare but i am happy with how it all works.
