I've got my eye an unbadged mid-late 70s bike that has clover leaf cut-outs on the seat cluster and the head tube lugs but nowhere else. what do we reckon it is? Mercian?

Could be a Mercian Strada Speciale or one of Roy Thame's. Any pics of the seat stays?

    Stonking looking frame

Seat stays are deffo not a Strada Speciale, my money is a Roy Thame as the builder drilled clover leaves into everything in the 70's lol ...... or an unknown jobby

    Thanks!

...Yep, Roy Thame seems the most likely. Very similar to the one above and the Campionissimo Road version in this catalogue:

i'll keep on keeping my eye on it! I have it in mind for a friends who's a mere 6 foot tall. Wondering if it might be a tad small for him...
