I would think that this car would have a bike shaped dent in the back end so I will keep an eye out for it. As Pete says some rather unsavoury characters in this neck of the woods.

I see lots of half wrecked hothatches down here in Southampton, with a strange couple of dents in the back. It always makes me wonder if they have been doing this to two wheelers.

Have spoken to the police this morning and they can't trace the driver from the information they have.

If anyone see's a silver Corsa (possibly still with a broken offside rear reflector) with a reg anything like RV05 RWY in the Waterside / Beaulieu area please let me know!

Don't know about the 'angry young men' average age of the group was probably 50! There were two guys standing in front of the car trying to stop him leaving, one who's a 61 year old retired RAF sargent was shouting 'stay there, we're calling the police' when he drove forward, at slow speed forcing them out of the way

Is that not assault to force people out of the way with a car?

Didn't you know you can do virtually anything you want to someone as long as you use a car and not a gun/knife/baseball bat as your weapon?

I do, seems that cars used as weapons is fine. The next idiot that points their car at me, won't be getting me shouting at them saying 'I'll tell the police'.- hmm spd cleats or FACT 10 Carbon soled road shoes vs. 2mm steel door panels....

That's a shame but hope you can trace him. Don't know what it is about some drivers and blind bends. They just HAVE to get past cyclists and sod the consequences. I get it all the time here and taking the line close to the centre of the road just riles them more so they often give you a 'punishment' close pass afterwards. I do enjoy catching up with the feckers when they get caught up in the inevitable gridlock a few yards further along! Sod £2 a litre- roll on £10, it might mean some knuckledraggers out there leave their 4 wheeled snotbuckets at home!

I was reading online 2 days back where a van was used to assassinate a young lad over a drugs debt. They chose the van as it would look hit and run... more of a chance of getting off if they did get caught:

I hope they find your driver!!
