Oooh it's nice there! I'm about 30 miles away from Callender.
I don't know the area well, but there are trails through the Trossachs National Park which are nice.

Thank you very much any help or advice much appreciated - I want to take my bike but have concerns re storage insurance etc However at the same time it doesn't seem right to not ride some of the best terrain in the country on a hire bike. I ride full sus too which I don't think u can hire.

You can hire full sus but to be honest, I'd rather ride my own bike (and it seems expensive!)
I'm taking mine on holiday this weekend for some riding up in Morayshire.
I have insurance which covers theft, accidental and malicious damage. I got a discount online and it wasn't expensive for the year - I think mine was £25 or so.
There's a few provisos; you use one of their approved locks (Sold Secure - the level depends on the value of your bike), if stored in an outside shed it has to be secured to a ground bolt etc.

Hello it's taken me two days to work out how to post anything !

Welcome, not to worry it took me 2 YEARS to work out if i put my seat up i'll go faster. Are you like me and have a MTB or do you dabble in the racer / road bike ? Mike.
