Most days there is at least one photographer, often more, at the entrance to Leeds Bus and Coach station recording the comings and goings.

Does no harm and gets them out of the house, I suppose.
Corn Exchange, you'll see at least five.

Talking to one person, he'd an estimated half a million pictures on file.

Makes them happy and does no harm.

I sometimes drive past a truck stop on the A5 near Rugby, there is an Eddie Stobart yard near by and there is always a gaggle of Eddie Spotters sat on the bench outside.
It's the same at Sherburn-in-Elmet, they have a distribution centre/yard there
How do I know?, I had to take my daughter there, to look for a certain drive she saw on TB - she even joined the spotters club, & has the DVDs
(not played for a a couple of years though)

On the road towards it though, you have to double-take, as there's a scrapyard with Rolls-Royce & Bentleys in!

Is that the Lillbourne one?

A sort of half way house between coach and train spotting, for some years a friend of mine drove a coach. Annually he was asked to take a group of tram spotters to various places in Europe. Each to their own.

Give a man a fish and he will feed his family for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit on the canal bank drinking beer by himself all day.

I like the Desmond Tutu version:
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring.
