Hello

I have organised a charity cycle ride from Great Yarmouth to mid Wales to raise money for Cancer Research.

From Great Yarmouth we shall stop overnight in Peterborough and then head for Wolverhampton. The Wolverhampton to the Welsh coast leg is already sorted.

Can anyone give me any decent cycle routes between Great Yarmouth and Wolverhampton taking in Peterborough.
Even if its only a 25 mile stretch any help would be appreciated.

There are 8 of us and we shall all be on road bikes. We are aiming to do 100 mile or there abouts over 3 days.

I started a similar thread last year with a couple of responses and am taking that previous advice into consideration any other help would be appreciated.

If anyone would like to sponsor us you can go to www.justgiving.com/teamcoast300

Thanks

I shall watch this with interest, I've been planning to do coast to coast but don't want to have to go oooop norf to do it.

Have you checked Sustrans?

Cycle Streets is a routefinder for cyclists and allows simle planning. Simply type in start and end!

It will then give Fast, Balanced and Quiet routes

It is not perfect, but usually gives a good idea as to possible routes that you can then edit and plan for yourself

Yes I use cyclestreets to find routes too BUT be warned some of their routes use off-road bridleways which might not suit you. I generally find their routes are well researched by locals.

Thanks for the tips, keep them coming.

I have looked at the different route find type websites, but just wondered if anyone had ridden part or parts of the planned journey and could recommend any routes.
