Last time I needed some I went to Screwfix, seems to be good enough quality and competitive pricing, easily available through their stores.

Screwfix? Unusual for an impotence clinic to sell coax.

Don’t know if you have near you but Wilkos also sell coaxial cable.

Ok I will go with my trusted CC members' advice and get the stuff that Drago recommended. I'm quite looking forward to making a neater job on this than the previous owner did. I will keep this thread updated as to whether it solves my problem
