Yep, I'm gonna give BF4 a go when I can be arsed to buy it. I love games with a real steep learning curve, that way those that stick with it like the game and want to play and all the noobs f*** off and play something else. I've never played BF before but the dev that made the MP for MOH is the same one for BF and the MP on MOH was a harsh (but pleasant) learning experience which I enjoyed.
I have enjoyed every BF since the series was created. It is always moving forward. However I worry because EA have now been wanting to take a larger part and that is effectively shoving down the culture of self interest onto the developers like DICE. Its a little worrying but nothing hugely negative has happened but its always on the back on my mine when I see a new one. We have seen that yearly releases do not work which is what COD does and BF is heading there and I find that troubling. Personally having played the two games which sprouted from MOH and I wish it stayed dead as I feel it was a black mark on its great history.
Its true what they say.
"You Either Die a Hero, or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become the Villain"
Luckily Battlefield is not close to that level yet.
