Oh, and my ex's brother was a total nut who liked the taste though he was perfectly well aware that most people do NOT!

He once had a bottle of cod liver oil from which he took a big spoonful in front of me, and he made a big deal of telling me how wonderful it was. So of course, I got him to pour me one ... The looks of anticipation on the faces of his mum and sisters should have made me realise what was about to happen! The only reason that I didn't throw up was because I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of seeing it. I was gagging for hours afterwards, and enduring endless fishy burps. xx(

There's good clinical evidence for the efficacy of cod liver oil (not just for joints but also for various other conditions and as a general 'good thing'). There's no real evidence to show efficacy for glucosamine.

Interesting, I thought it might have been the other way around.

I'm getting through a 500ml bottle of cod liver oil per month on average.

I love the stuff!

Gone back to taking it daily, not really took it since I was in Infants school, a nice little swig in the morning, lovely :hungry:

After a couple of months I've noticed the legs are moving a bit more freely, maybe I'm imagining it ?

Anyone else on this nectar:rolleyes:

Yummy, I love bursting the capsules but they seem to have made them stronger recently. Must go and try the latest batch.

They don't seem to burst, just split.

:hungry:
