This is a much underated coffee maker. Just fine Espresso ground coffee and a kettle required

I often take mine to work with a Porletti hand grinder - Fab portable bean to cup Espresso!

I've been tempted by one of those, do they produce the same kind of espresso you get from a pumped machine in a cafe?

No, not quite, simply because you do not have the high water pressure going through the coffee and it produces no Crema.
However it allows a very strong espresso strength coffee thanks to using espresso ground fineness and produces a smooth strong coffee that lacks the bitterness that you sometimes get with a Mocha pot. It's quick too. Less than a minute.
I wouldn't hesitate in buying one and you can use it anywhere you have a kettle.

PS: It comes with LOTS of filters ... don't buy extra ... and the filters last several cups too.

Returning to www.pactcoffee.com

They are running a £10 voucher promotion which expires at 16:30 today.

Use the voucher code 'levysentme'

Pass on the voucher code to fellow coffee lovers. I don't benefit from the promotion. I subscribed a week too soon to benefit

Correction to the voucher thingy for coffee.

You get a free bag of coffee using the voucher code. You can cancel the subscription immediately after the receipt of the coffee. There's about half an hour left to take advantage of the offer.
