Good for you! Bon courage!! I did the port de palhieres (and several others in succession) fully loaded over the summer so know how flippin' painful it is. The prospect of the tourmalet dragging all that weight is not very pleasant! Rather you than me!!

About 7 years ago, I did an "iron butt" on the motorbike. Nothing big, it just means riding over 1,000 miles in 24 hours.
At the end of my road, with about 1 of those 1,000 miles, I went past a Renault Clio Grande and that was it.
For the next 24 hours I could not get this out of my head.
