It's hot here, and I got slightly sunburned on the golf course this morning. Had a bar-a-que steak for lunch with some Piont Grigio blush over ice.

Think I may have a large lager shandy, ice cold of course, while I think about supper.

Anyone else want one?

I would use that Italian cooking lager to make a marinade for the steak then sit down with a couple of bottles of beer, something like Coniston Bluebird Bitter, Harviestoun Bitter, Copper Dragon Best Bitter or Moorhouse's Blonde Witch for a really refreshing drink.

I've had enough of work today... driving me nuts... never felt more like doing a Reggie Perrin... going for a pint with a trusted colleague. xx(

Has anybody ever tried using lager as a toilet cleaner? I bet it disguises bathroom odours and cleans nicely.

Good idea. Mebbe I'll chill a bitter just for once - really need cold one, though normally go down the cider route for that malarky. Mebbe an nice cool Stowfords, or a Merrydown...

No, but I saw someone on tv put a bottle of cheapo cola down a loo once. I think they were trying to remove limescale or summat. xx(

Have you got anything non-alcohfrolic? I am taking anti-biotics because I have a (chest) infection. Steady on there!

It does not say "avoid alcohol", so I suppose I could have a small very cold cider.
