Quite luxurious down here in London then.......1.3degC when I left. Have to say my NW Goretex Boots work a treat in this weather - along with a couple of pairs of socks!

About -2 when I left home at 5:20 this morning. Cold fingers and toes and then pins and needles when I got into my warm office.

Very cold again, but it was nice and dry. Even went the long route in. Had to watch out at one junction, where all the 'snail trails' from car exhausts had frozen (the condensation you get).....

Yesterday's training run was OK - some dodgy areas of ice, including a 800 yard stretch of frozen ice and slush....on a 15% climb......;) a case of sit down and pray for traction in the tyre tracks of cars. One very patient driver waited until the ice passsed before overtaking (he could probably see the rear end sliding) - thanked him. :girl:

Just wish it would warm up a bit now....

Utterly freezing and silly me forgot to pack my overshoes. I remembered when I got to the bottom of the first hill which is a good deterrant to say blow it and continue the ride to work.

Looks like these temperatures are going to be with us until the end of March.

My outdoor temp thing, perhaps a little pessimistic, was reading - 8c, was certainly cold.

Thing is, the fact it was such a wonderful morning meant it didnt matter, also got to do the "Im a here but dont like to talk about it" when the weather was being discussed and people assumed I had used the car, funny how they cant comprehend wrapping up and enjoying it.
