Be careful you might slip.

Me on the phone to my friend who I car share with

"Just take your time in the snow".

Oh and telling Bikepete to put extra socks on this morning because of the cold. I swear I' turning into something I don't like.

They are on to "Grit Rationing" around here!

Local news had the lot last night-

Cold presenter next to a motorway
Cold presenter sitcking a tape measure in the snow
Cold presenter near a gritting lorry
Cold presenter watching people slide around on the pavement.

Is there an army of presenters who seem to just come out and stand in front of a camera when it snows? I have not seen any of the above presenters before. Or is it that the man bod stays in the warm studio and they send the teaboy wannabes out in the snow?

"Cold Snap" surely this suggests a brief(quick) period of severe cold weather.
The BBC1 presenter was still using it this morning, that's at least three weeks too long(if you live in Scotland).
