I don't see Trev and Bruce's comments as particularly nice or helpful. I got exactly where Pete was coming from.

I got the vision of Pete dragging matey into a Kangaroo court wanting to know answers of "why this happened !"
"Tell me, tell me!"...."How dare you leave us short staffed "!!......PMSL!!

Oh, Arch, I found a bridge, and with the rain it was a good place to play!!

Your just not helpful period GAYMIKEY, go away. He said, "When he returns I shall be asking him some questions", creating the impression he was some self styled Cyclist policeman, clearly he now sees that this was perhaps not the best language to use, as it didnt create the correct impression of what he was trying to say, go read his OP before you start with your as ever jaded and emotional not based on anything closely resemebling the real world comments.

And what attitude is that, exactly?

As far as I can see, a guy on a motorbike collided with someone on a bike, and Pete's interested to know what happened...

You and trev go and play under the bridge.

Very stupid and pointless post, how foolish do you look now!

Bruce, that post is really not in keeping with the spirit of this forum. My point was simply that it was not necessary to take one of the worst possible interpretations of Pete's posts and be so unkind to him. It's fairly clear that myself and others understood what he meant, and it was nothing like what you wrongly assumed it to be.

p.s. Arch doesn't look even slightly foolish. She's one of the most sensible posters here, for almost all the time. So much so that when people begin to give her a hard time, it's almost certainly everything with their attitude and not hers.

Thank you Mikey - I don't feel at all foolish. I'm not going to be made foolish by someone who either deliberately, or through general dimness, didn't get the orginal meaning...

Hey, whaddya mean 'almost all the time'!

;)

I'm enjoying the irony in someone who uses the word Gaymikey then suggesting that someone else looks foolish. Although I'm glad that Gaymikey was capitalised, in case anyone else didn't realise how clever a wordplay it was.

Mikey's been hiding his sexuality all this time, obviously choosing to ride a recumbent so that his desired nickname of BentMikey could be explained away! Why didn't we see it all before?!

LOL! It was a masterstroke of wordplay indeed. Anyway, so what if BM was gay? Would that constitute a problem?

It's turned into a bit of s strange thread!

Indeed you may be correct, it may be that the Bent part of his name doesnt really apply to his sexuality (although having heard his voice on his numerous videos I am not so sure),
and in fact refers to his "Bendy" thinking which he demonsrtrates on here all to often, with his so far removed from reality comments, almost akin to the madness of King George, mmm a real quandary indeed
