Collected my Carrera Crixus ll.

Only had a quick ride , but must admit i like it. Absolute steal for the money £249.00. Its good looking, well made and exactly what i was looking for. Im 5-10 and got the 51cm which is spot on. I know Halfords get a bad press but the service i received was first class,thanks Matt. Will report more after i have put a few miles in.

Had a very enjoyable 15 mile ride [on road] today. Bike performed flawlessly. I checked her over and tweaked the brakes and saddle beforehand. I recently sold a road bike [to big] and still have an mtb and a hybrid. The Carrera is sooooo much better to ride . Its comfortable , with smooth gear changes and i felt relaxed even when pushing a little. Its not perfect by any means, feels a little heavy ,but at the price its a genuine bargain imho that is lol.
