I can't believe she gave in so easily. However, now the seed has been planted she'll be chipping away at you relentlessly, always mentioning that so and so has just had a new bathroom, calling your attention to the Victoria Plum adverts on the TV, looking animatedly at the Wickes catalogue folding over the corners at the things she likes.

Well, that's what I'd do until I wore him down and got a new bathroom!
