Excellent, it feels like they've earned their place in the six nations this afternoon.

Fabulous.
There were some derogatory posts about Italy at the start of the 6 Nations, but I reckon they showed great promise from the off and they've just grown and grown. They always start well, but usually slowly loose their grip, today they held their nerve, pleyed with speed and passion and won a well deserved victory.

Great last 20 minutes, got no nails left!

Given the number of Italians playing in British and French teams these days, is there any wonder their game has improved as much as it has?. At the start of the championship it was my firm belief that they would put on a better show this year. Yesterday's result was an absolute joy, and I think it bodes very well for the quality of the competition for years to come. Bergamasco's kicking didn't let them down yesterday, and in a "what if?" sort of way, if he had been that accurate against others they would be much higher up the table.

I would not want to be nursing Mallet's hangover this morning!

Really, really pleased for them. This is the shot in the arm that Italian rugby needs. I just hope that the whole nation was partying all night, and waking up this morning thinking "what is this rugby lark?"

I'm dead chuffed for the Italians. They've been playing with passion for many years, and slowly slowly closing the gap on the other nations. They've had good results in the past, and have beaten Scotland and Wales before (as I recall), and I'm looking forward to more victories and, more importantly, consistency.
