coming back to cycling after a while out...

Hello to you all. After several years out I'm now getting back into cycling. Not only as a way of getting to work but for fitness.... I'm currently looking to spend no more than 500 quid on my next bike....... to be used in the week for commuting and weekends for long off track rides... thanks for your input

I don't know what fitness means... But riding often is a winner! Enjoy

I'd get a carrera road bike and put 28c tires on it and use that off road. It would be superb!
