Takes the win, retiring this year though. Hopefully he doesn’t get picked up for dropping below the sprint line (never certain on the rules)

The Welsh pair put on a masterclass in the women’s points race to take gold and silver, making sure one of them covered all but one of the attacks that took a lap (which was covered by the third Welsh rider although she blew up before the catch).

Hadn’t realised she won the kilo too, she said she hadn’t raced one since she was 12 and wasn’t expecting winning.

The women massively outperformed the men but then they’ve got world class riders in Finucane and Morris.
