As per the thread title, who has tickets/going to see the free events like the Road Racing??



I also seem to remember offering on here to put people up during it, but nobody ever got back to me....

Not going at any event as I'm working at the venues.
If they carry on with the road closures no would be spectator will make it to the events!
It is starting to get rather annoying, even on a bike ... harumph!!

Anyway, I have tickets for the Athletics, The Rugby 7s, Hockey, Squash and Badminton. Mostly the sports they can't shift the tickets for, but I don't mind, having been at London 2012, I've seen a lot of things already.

I'll also go to see the Road Race(s) and possibly the Marathon.

I might take a wander up to the big smoke durimg the games (with bike so I've got half a chance of getting about - thanks for the warning @Pat "5mph" ).
More to take in the atmosphere rather than anything else as CGs aint really my thing. Be interesting to see what they've done to the east end though!

We have tickets for the gymnastics, hockey and swimming. Also plan to watch the time trial and road race. Might go to the triathlon too as Strathclyde Park is only 10 minutes cycle from home
