Am keen to get a new bike and am interested in the range by Cube Bikes especially the ATTAIN C:62 SLT - spec, appearance and price good. Would be interested in hearing feedback from recent / current owners of a Cube bike. TIA

Have only seen an alloy Cube bike before but the build quality and finish was good so visited their website and again, liked what I saw but getting testimony from an owner is really useful - thanks 👍

Ms AU has had a Cube trekking bike for three years. Horrible black ugly thing, but it has been her commuter and bad weather bike for all of that time with just the occasional wipe of the chain.

It's filthy and just keeps going, unlike my bikes that all demand constant attention.

It's also surprisingly nice to ride

My Cube Attain GTC Disc '16 is 8.5 years old now, still going strong. Spec was good for price, arguably better than my ebike bargain at £900 from Rutland, we had a big thread on bike radar and I grabbed one of the last 58cm in the May Day sale.

MIL has a Cube. It has one of those BB standards that was fashionable, but hasn't stuck, but other than that it's been great.

Not a posh as your proposed bike.

I've got a Cube entry level race bike. I use it as an all-rounder, shopper, tourer. It's brilliant. Light, sprightly and stiff. Goes to the shops, been to Budapest, extended day trips, been to Prague (twice), commute to the station (20 miles, 4 times a week). Wouldn't want anything else, but ...
Ms CC has a Cube racer and I'm jealous. She also has a Cube gravel bike.
I think my N+1 will be a Cube gravel.

I have a Cube Attain GTC, 2021 model, with 105 (mechanical, 11 speed cassette), which I bought new in August 2021.

I've done about 14,000 miles on it since, with no significant issues. I've had to replace most of the drivetrain components at one time or another of course, but that is routine over that sort of distance.

I use it for commuting (twice a week, 31 mile round trip), and regular leisure/exercise rides, in all weathers (except serious gales or ice).

I don't really have any other road bikes to compare it with, my previous bike was a Boardman hybrid, but I am very pleased with the way it handles. Not super-light, as carbon framed bikes go, but not bad at all.

I bought an Attain C62 race in May. 12 speed 105 mechanical groupset. Superb value for money, cost the exact same in £s as my previous best bike did in 2009. That was a Specialized Roubaix with mostly non-series parts and 105 rear mech and shifters.
The Attain has a more comfortable ride, probably due to having wider tyres.
