im a little tea pot
my direct route is 4 miles, on sunday and monday i did 16 in and about 8 back, might pop out earlier tomorrow to get a 20 miler in before work!

i only get to commute a maximum of 3 days a week so need the time in the saddle to get me ready for my sponsored ride!

Our direct route is 8 miles.. And in the morning thats fine but already thinking of finding a prettier longer route for the way home.. So got the cycling bug already!

16.25 miles door to door, aiming to complete that every day.... When they were finishing off tarmaccing the cycle path along the busway I was doing 20 miles each way, but had only had the bike a month or so and could only manage 2-3 days a week.

Is it outdoors, the winds are getting up it could be very interesting indeed !

yeah it is outside and it was hard going lol

Least its another 3 months atleast till my commute gets shorter, by then the better weather will be here (or hopefully) :bicycle:

If you're only going to be 1-2 miles from home, how about keeping up the mileage by riding home for lunch? Or grab a sandwich and ride round to a local park or somewhere like that?

Thats an idea, most likely just ride more before or after work or both, only done 1 leisure ride last year, already had one this year so hoping to do alot more leisure miles aswell :bicycle:
