well done bigfella ,did you use the a13 cyclepath there and back?
the reason i don't use that route is the bit where it goes around /under the north cicular , this for personal safety reasons.

compared to my normal rides the A13 and A12 seemed like the devils highways to me, never relaxed once on them.

Which bit was that? That's why I was all of a quandry at Benfleet; it's very easy to get onto the new A13 (rather than the old, nice, slow, back route) which is not bike friendly at all. Though perfectly legal in parts.

Yeah I think I know the part you mean. I came back a slightly different way under the A406 and it wasn't great to be honest with the busy traffic and poor road surface of Gorsebrook Road. On the way there it was a bit better as I went up Dagenham Heathway. As soon as I got into Newham the ride was a bit better.

If you are riding on Monday maybe you could show me your route?

you remember when you said about the 3 roundabouts well it was there we ended up on the a13 i must confess i found it a tad scary.
