Commute interrupted - "when life gives you lemons . . ."

The train section of my commute was cancelled this morning.

So I had a lovely 10 minutes ride along one side of the canal, over the bridge and back along the other side.

I was still feeling the 'endorphin chill' 4 hours later.

Definite 'lemonade moment'!

Sounds like you should be doing that every day! Why spend money on the train to avoid a pleasant 10 minute ride?

Also, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade!". But you need sugar and water to make lemonade. All you can make with lemons is lemon juice and that wouldn't be pleasant at all! I DON'T LIKE THIS SAYING!

No, the train part is normally 40 minutes, but the cancellation meant I had 20 minutes free to go on a recreational ride.
