Hi all,

I have got £600 worth of Cycle to Work vouchers to get myself a trusty steed for getting to and from work.

I've got a 7.5 mile commute (each way) and it can be pretty hilly dependent on what route i take, so i'm looking for a bike with no suspension and disc brakes. Currently doing the commute on my road bike but don't enjoy the liveliness of it in the winter, and it can get sketchy in traffic so i'm looking for flat bars too.

I'm stuck between the following bikes, so has anyone got any experience/comments on these:

Felt QX75 2014 - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/felt-qx75-2014/
Cannondale Quick CX 4 2014- http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Cannondale-Quick-CX-4-2014-Hybrid-Sports-Bike_66056.htm
Cube Hyde 2014 - http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Cube-Hyde-2014-Hybrid-Sports-Bike_66660.htm

Any other suggestions also welcomed!

Thanks in advance

Wow.. never seen anything quite like that.. intriguing!

I have the Cambridge, next model up, that retailer might have older models close to your budget but there's not too much difference. 10kg with hydraulic disc brakes

You'll need to check which C2W provider your company uses, you may be restricted as to where you can buy from

The Whyte site has a retailer list, British company with very strong MTB heritage the R7 fast hybrids are a bit more MTB oriented than road bike oriented but fun to ride, and get great reviews if you google - that'll be the case for quite a few of the disc braked bikes I would think
