commuter bike please

hello all,

I am after a Road/Commuter bike. I have a budget of 500-600 pound. I am 5ft-9 and want a comfortable ride. Most of all a reliable spec required. I have a Giant Defy 1 and don't want to use that. My journey is only 4 miles each way.

@Giant-Churchy i have this one for sale http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/dave-hinde-arrival-in-biggs682-stable.162460/ . As you can see in post i have only just picked this up and have been using on my daily commute all week so far without any issues , its a 54cm sized frame and 53cm along top tube , i am only in Northamptonshire and would also post if needed asking £225 ish
