Glad to hear it. Onwards & upwards!

Good news mate...have recently been told that I can cycle again and feel like the world is my oyster (actually I feel knackered as I've been out every day since and should have a rest day!!!!)...keep at it!

I have actually been back on the bike for a while, in fact I think that cycling is one of the main things that's got me through the last few months. Convincing my employers medical advisors has been another matter!
It's easy to over do it, don't forget the rest is as important as the ride.

Well it's taken them a couple of weeks to sort me a place to work. But Monday morning will be my first commute in almost 5 months. Looks like I will be battling strong winds along the coast, but I can't wait. Bring it on!

Like you, I've been off sick since the beginning of December (Septic shock in my case). I'm hoping to be back to work in the next few weeks.
I've actually been offered a new job whilst I've been off, so won't be returning to my current job. Really looking forward to getting back.
I've still got a fewproblems with tiring easily, hence I've bought an ebike as I couldn't get home on my old bike (long, big uphil coming home).
Good luck with it all, take it easy to start off with.

Without any personal details, any chance of a pointer as to what kept you off work? Just interested - please tell me to mind my own business if you want to and I will take no offence whatsoever.

And again, apologies if it is a well known or documented issue elsewhere on here

Thanks for the good wishes. Tiredness was my biggest problem, but thankfully i appear to be over that. Hope its not too long before you are at full strength. Enjoy the new job.

Bl00dy hell.... Having suffered from some intracranial bleeding and almost needing a bore hole (Rugby related) I sympathise.

I am not sure I would be rushing back on to my bike  But can understand you doing so! GOOD LUCK

And thanks for 'fessing up' so honestly.
