Commuting crash

Hello all, after my Big G Grimpeurs Des Wolds crash on Saturday where me and my bike parted company at about 20mph, I thought my crashing days were behind me. NOT.

This morning on the ride in to new job, tried to do a short cut down a dis-used railway line which is overgrown. Front wheel ran into a foot long by 6 inch deep rut and stopped dead. I didn't and carried on over the handlebars.

Good start to my cycle commuting life. Dusted myself off and got to work ok. Also got home ok. I WON'T be using the same short cut tomorrow.

glad you're OK CP. Do you normally carry a ruler to determine how deep you've been?

Judged the depth by eye, thinking "That looks like six inches"
