It's that time of year when that big yellow thing in the sky shows itself more often than not but I have realised that someone in our house has broken my cycling sunglasses:headshake: , so no shades to protect my eyes from the UV.
Now I need to buy some new ones, shame, might buy some more expensive ones to try a get some optically better ones plus maybe photochromic as well:becool: .

I've still got my low light (yellow tint) lenses in for now. Not much light in morning and Sun behind me on journey home in afternoon so will leave dark lenses in pouch for a few weeks longer. Shorts on today though. Windy on way home but sunny. Will resurrect sunglasses in the next few weeks.

Lidl/Aldi ones tend to be different every six months. Same principle, cheap as chips. Plastic frame, 3 sets of lenses, pouch, cleaning cloth. 2 years ago the fit was a bit wider, more comfortable. They were bigger and there was also a decent gap between the top of them and your forehead, which meant they were less prone to fogging up.
as you can guess, I've got a collection.
I guess basically, they can be OK, but think what you want and try 'em on.

Use my aldi yellow tint glasses all year round for commuting, the lens is just the right shade for me to be ok in strong sunlight and the tint works well at night as its not to dark and reduces headlight glare.

Dark lenses in for journey in afternoon this week but won't bother
today. Just as the weekend is about to start too. Still nice to have a taste of what, with any luck the Summer might entail. Gez
