Having been to the policethey are unable to do antyhing with regards to the origional offence, attempted break in, due to the length of time.

What rubbish. If you murdered someone and weren't caught till 20 years later you'd still get in trouble for it.

What a fob off!

What a cheeky little runt - to be going on about it two years after the event. Just tell him he was lucky you didn't 'do him over'.....sheesh.

If his comments carry on - just inform the cops that he is thretening you.

He can carry on saying that I ruined his trainers for all I care. I'm just waiting for him to come near the house again, CO2 extinguisher to hand. Just in case of fire, but good for instant freezing as well.

He's known to the local police so no problem there. Could be why they want him to go voluntarly to the station, I'm not certain.
I have offerred to phone the police on his behalf, then pass the handset over to him(shocking really!!!) to continue the call, but the best he'll do is tell me what I can do.

Thanks for the suggestions given.
