I've never seen the like! Happily enjoying my evening commute on Wednesday, basking in late evening sunshine, when I see a tandem coming my way pilot and stoker looking like they still hadn't decided who was going on the front! 'Interesting', thinks I, and pedalled on.
About 300 yards later I see another... then another... then a lot more. Fantastic! Synchronised waving all round, must have been 10 or 12 in all. The rear was brought up by a bloke riding a tandem on his own, I didn't have the heart to point out his stoker had gone awol.
I've never seen them before, perhaps they're on a national tour and will be down your way soon!
