Am interested in how long things should last, like drivetrain, wheels, tyres etc ?
I am somewhere between 2500/3000 miles on my original Conti Sport tyres, not too badly worn but some threads from the side have come away and are looking a bit ropey.
Drivetrain, there is sligth wear on the middle crank ring, getting a bit of "Shark Toothing" and apparently the chain is a bit stretched, is it better to replace it all in one go, how long should it last ? it seems to be working fine.
Wheels are not perfect but work ok, little tiny bit out of true and the rear has had three spokes replaced.
Just wondering if I am heading for some expense !
